They saved Gandhi.

The crowd of 40-50 terrified people, with tattered clothes and minds, came running eccentrically towards Sabaramati Ashram. They were followed by a huge mob of men with saffron strips on their heads and trishuls and swords in their hands.

The unfortunate crowd felt that ‘Ahimsavadi Gandhi’ might save them. They requested the doorkeeper to open the door.

The doorkeeper refused.

He said, ‘it might damage the prestigious place and valuable things kept there’

And he SAVED Gandhi.
